You cannot see God.
But look at the world He made —
you can see how big and powerful He is.
So no one can say,
“I didn’t know.”
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

하나님은 눈에 보이지 않으십니다. 하지만 그분이 만드신 세상을 보면 그분이 얼마나 크고 강한 분인지 알 수 있습니다.
그래서 “하나님을 몰랐다”는 말은 핑계가 되지 않습니다.
창세로부터 그의 보이지 아니하는 것들 곧 그의 영원하신 능력과 신성이 그가 만드신 만물에 분명히 보여 알려졌나니 그러므로 그들이 핑계하지 못할지니라
